Partizansky District (Russian: Партиза́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion) of Primorsky Krai, Russia; one of the twenty-two in the krai. It is located in the southern portion of the krai and borders with Chuguyevsky District in the north and northeast, Lazovsky District in the east, territory of the city of Nakhodka and with the Sea of Japan in the south, territory of the town of Partizansk and with Shkotovsky District in the west, and with Anuchinsky District in the northwest and north. The area of the district is 4,253.9 square kilometers (1,642.4 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Vladimiro-Alexandrovskoye. District's population: 30,244 (2010 Census preliminary results);[4] 31,666 (2002 Census);[5] 29,455 (1989 Census).[8] Population of Vladimiro-Alexandrovskoye accounts for 17.6% of the district's population.[5]

The territory of the Partizanskaya River basin is one of the warmest valleys in the Russian Far East.
